Wow, Mariah Carey is an inspiration for a lot of my students at my boca raton singing lessons studio, however, this video proves how she's doing these days, this performance is right out nasty!
I really don't know what happened, did she fire her Delray Beach Vocal Coach? I guess lack of practice and everybody telling you how good you are makes you forget about the basics, practicing the technique, keeping your range in check, etc.
My humble opinion, she needs to go back to her Boca Raton Vocal Coach, she needs to be sure she's singing awesome before she goes out and does something like this, somebody, like this very unreliable sound engineer will publish her vocal shame and discredit her legacy.
Check out the video, if you can't deal with the awfulness just scroll to the end, when she usually does her big inflection-infested endings, that resumes it all.
