What a JOY! Joss Stone is back to light, in a surprising way, in a mashup with Stone Temple Pilots performing their hit Interstate Love Song.
The version is not the most dynamic, I personally miss the harmonies of the background vocals, and think the horns were not at all needed, however the vocal technique and great voice control of Joss Stone is impeccable, even after 15 years of career; and she is looking better than ever!
I'd love to find a singer with those pipes to coach, there's so much delray beach voice lessons can do for someone with this kind of talent.

Some time ago I read an article titled "when not only pretty people were allowed to make music". In that article the author cited masterpieces like Stairway to Heaven and Hotel California as examples of how music used to be great before the horrid Justin Bieber times we are enduring nowadays.
It was a great article, it said that these days pretty people are out there posing as artists just because their beauty, and not so much because of their talent.
Today I woke up with that article in my head and wanted to hear some of those masterpieces (live versions is what I enjoy the most) and looked for a live performance of Stairway to Heaven, and I found this video where a crutch driven Robert Plant soothes the audience with sensual moves, and Jimmy Page is not left behind in charm. These guys were the sexiest boys of their era, super talented musicians who happened to be pleasant to the eye too.
So, the beauty is not to blame for the lack of quality and substance of a lot of today's music; it is our fault, we let pretty faces intrude in our music, regardless of their lack of musical talent.
Now, I'm not that old in my mind, I know there are great music out there too, but regardless to the before mentioned article, the people who gave us the great songs we consider good music, were sexy too.
This is just perfection, man! it is so hard to find this mastery in Vocal Technique and pure tone. If you are a singer watch this video, aspire to sing like these old timers. Simply awesome.
Dear friends, I found this awesome performance of probably the best song ever. Led Zeppelin in full was there watching their song being performed by Ann and Nancy Wilson (& Co.) the performance is so powerful that the rock masters nearly broke in tears.
If you love music do not miss this awesome performance, it is simply impeccable.
Who knew! James Hetfield, the frontman of Metallica also has a soft side! Check him out here performing an Adele song with his 16 years old daughter.
We all know about the abilities of daddy Hetfield, however his daughter is not bad at all, one can tell she's got some serious boca raton vocal coaching sessions, I hope we can see more of her taking the torch from his dad maybe?

As a Boca Raton Vocal Coach, these things excite me, it is really a breath of fresh air when the good ones from the past revive to give the wisdom of their voices to new songs.
Artists like Paul Anka, Johnny Cash and many others literally came out from retirement straight to the charts by doing their versions of Rock and pop songs of today. Delray Beach Singing Lessons - I applaud these efforts and like and buy these tracks every time they come out.
